I probably haven't posted in over 6-8 years as priorities change but I still have and love driving my '95TT which gets SO much attention for being rare now! With age comes certain changes. My problem is a CONSTANT whine in the rear like in the diff. I'm nearly getting used to it and I know it should be attended to. I've checked the gear oil which is clear, fresh (Redline) and up at the right level. With the car on a lift, turning the wheels doesn't seem to make any noticeable sounds. I will say that my rear left subframe bushing is shot (leaked out) so I'm not sure if that is causing a misalignment in the drivetrain and causing the whine. The other 3 have NOT leaked. Any help with this will be appreciated guys! Thanks in advance!
KEEP THE LEFT LANE CLEAR FOR FASTER MOVING TRAFFIC!!!
